A Financial Adviser is not an insurance agent.
Unlike an Insurance agent, Financial Adviser advise on products to help improve an individuals position and financial portfolio.
A Financial Planner on top of planning for all financial needs such savings, retirement, taxation, etc is only a Financial Adviser if he/she conducts activities regulated under the Financial Adviser Act (Cap.110)
A Financial Adviser may not necessary be a Financial Planner.
There is really a lot of difference that people fail to see. Hmm....
