Day 7
An example of a minimart at the petrol station. Lol (As if anyone was interested to know)
Nearing ZhaoQing. It is so rural and slow here. It kind of give you a glimpse of what China used to be. Full of greenery.
Posing for a picture. The shirt you see now will be soak with sweat a few hours later. Gee why did i not bring an extra shirt.
Something Ms. Han Lih Lih refuse to take. You know why? The chinese just wants the tourist cash. Not worth it Lol!
A sneak peek at one of the crags in the Seven Star Crags. hehehe Beautiful!
Another sneak peeks. ^_^
A map featuring only 3 crags or mountains or whatever you call them Lol!
Calm quarry river. It is so like those Chinese dramas you see where the prince or princess would gather. Lol!
XiaoBai! Lol Sticking out his tongue. Somewhat like a small boy LoL! Kidding.
More Quarry like stuff. Amazing how this crags remain standing.
Another moment of shooting a photographer Joanne! Xiao Bai at the background shooting too!
A Jetty or a runway. Hmm... Nope no runners this time.
Another position. ^_^
Chinese inscription. Not sure what it says.
A gate beside the small hill which we embarked on.
The beginning of a very wet and insulting experience. Lol!
There you go. Mountain climbing! Climbing team led by Mr. Kevin ____ years of experience. Lol!
The first lag of the climb. Steep and ferocious. ^_^ I like! Kind of reminded me my time on Mount Ophir.
Seng Liang aka Xiao Bai putting in effort even though he has smoked MANY sticks. lol!
Beauty Scene! It looks like a river delta huh!One of my favourite pictures. Chris caught unaware as he stares up to how much more there is left to reach.
Another Crag about 200 meters away. ^_^
Oh how happy we were. Lol! How we gave big smiles as though we have reached the summit. Lol! What fools we were. Haha when we crept over to the edge, we were deceived. There was still about 20 to 40 meters of climbing. Lol!
A grand view of ZhaoQing. ^_^
Now that is a form of assurance that we have finally reached the top.
Our China friends and Jie Loong i think. ^_^
Bare-Bodied man of the 7 Star Crag. Only found during this season of the year.
Connie and Q Q ^_^
Notice there ain't any pictures of us coming down? One reason was because someone was wearing a skirt. Lol! Oh well it was quite a steep way down too so yeah no pictures. After we reach ground level, the group here decided to play Bridge along with a bottle of Coke. This is the life. Lol!
Under a shady tree? Hmm...
Little ugly toad. Quite adorable though.
Now before we reached this hotel. The temperature outside almost hit 39 Degrees celsius. Oh my! It was so hot. Furthermore, our shifu (drivers in China were called teachers. Not sure why)was so nice as to keep the aircon high in the bus. We were literally melting in the bus. When we got off, we were welcome by the cool breeze. Oh my goodness, the temperature outside the bus was so much more cooler then in the bus. An ovening experience. So before we actually set off for dinner, i was determine to soak myself with cool water. A swimming pool maybe but i was told there wasn't any when i was all prepared to go. Lol! To make do of what i have, i went to have a spa in the bathtub. Lol! Oh it felt rejuevanating. Lol!
Reaching the dinner area with XiaoBai next to a police car.
Dining area. Hmm it appears that in this area, lol KJ spilled coke twice. Hmm how strange lol because after that incident, i also spilled coke in ShenZhen. lol! Nice dinner yup!
When free time came and we were allowed to go shopping, we looked around. Only having a few minutes left, we headed to the water fountain of ZhaoQing.
It looks magnificient huh?
Gee. So what if it goes up quite high. The whole thing was not in tandum with the orchestra music. I think if you have seen the musical fountain in Sentosa, this is nothing. ^_^
Gee. The case where my camera is toooooo slow. Lol!
