Journey of Running...

Doesn't every run remind you of some part in your life where you chase after that dream!

The dash where the enthusiasm just drives your mind without even having to look back what has been done.

The journey where that enthusiasm slowly dies out because your left alone to tackle obstacles in your life.

The pain and breathlessness slowly consuming you as you get yourself straightened out towards your final goal.

The adrenaline pumped for the final distance as you race closer towards your goal.

The tapped on the back as you catch your breath and tell yourself i have achieved what i set out to achieve again.

Running aside, have i been emo lately? One things for sure, i am happy yet afraid for that day to come. Anyway, i have to get myself straightened up and show to those around me, it is possible to excel and yet play at the same time. Throw in those NOS tanks together with V- Power.

The Scout Law Prayer

Dear Lord, Bless all those everywhere who contribute to shape the hearts, minds and bodies of young people. Let us remember what they have taught and apply it daily.

When facing deceit and dishonesty, let us be Trustworthy.
If we see hypocrisy and faithlessness, let us be Loyal.
Where disregard of others and mere materialism prevail, let us be Helpful.
When we find people in despair, let us be Friendly.
In an atmosphere of ill manner, let us be Courteous.
Where some measure manliness in brutality and crudeness, let us be Kind.
Though lawbreaking and rule-scoffing are common, let us be Obedient.
While others grumble and grouch, let us be Cheerful.
In an environment blighted by waste and extravagance, let us be Thrifty.
When confronted with danger and temptation, let us be Brave.
As we see filth and pollution everywhere, let us be Clean.
While witnessing impiety, let us remember to be Reverent.

In short, in a world that has for generation after generation lamented the lack of good examples, let us, as Scouts, stand out, grow up, and be real adults.

Last Saturday
Thank you YMM for making this Youth Mass a memorable yet fun filled one for everyone including myself. I will cherish those meetings, parties and sessions. Cheers.

Thank you Susan for hosting the so called farewell session for both Jeremy and myself. Thank you Jeremy, Marcus, Tony, Shane and Susan for being the listening ear when i needed it most. Thank you Susan for those snacks and drinks. Though the 7 Cups of mixtures with 7Up, Coke, 100Plus, Jack Daniels, Chivas Regal and Vodka Peach made me high, i was not made drunk. LoL!

Today
It was a stressing yet agonizing day. All the sweat, noise and "responsiveness" of others. Well it was like my own story being told. Me being Martha and the rest who were just going with the flow and practicing would be Mary. Everything though screw up in some way or another came through nicely. Thank You Lord.

As for you fellow confirmands, thank you for making this journey for me a fruitful and great one. My first ever incomplete cycle. You guys and gals are great! Keep up the faith and be in contact yeah. Felt kinda Emo during the whole ROSF...
